I am a 37-year Cursillista whose Christian walk has been deeply influenced by the Cursillo and Via de Cristo ministries. Since attending Men’s #12 in Western NC in 1984, I have been active in reunion groups and have served on many Via de Cristo and other 4th Day community teams over the years. Other service opportunities include four terms on two Secretariats and Co-chairing the Host Committee for the 2017 Annual Gathering at Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, NC.
Nancy and I have been married for three years and collectively have six children, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. We are spiritually fed and nourished each week as active members at Christ Church in Hickory, NC.
Via de Cristo is not a great weekend that I once attended. It is a method that keeps me connected with like-minded Christians each week and draws me closer to Christ.
