For this reason, though I am bold enough in Christ to command you to do your duty, yet I would rather appeal to you on the basis of love.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 

So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
