Don’t ever forget God’s promises to you. Keep them. Cherish them, like Caleb. God is not slow in fulfilling the promises He made to you. Doesn’t matter if it was 45 years ago. Maybe He’s just waiting for you to get in the right place.

It says in Proverbs 25:16 – “Eating too much honey can make you sick.” If that’s true, “always wanting praise,” can do the same.

Can I ask you something… what are you waiting for? All of us are waiting for something. Maybe you’re waiting for a baby or grandchild to be born. Maybe you’re waiting for that upcoming vacation. Maybe you’re waiting for your house to sell. Maybe you’re waiting for that package to come in the mail. Maybe you’re waiting for your wedding day to come. Maybe you’re waiting for your loved one to die. Just think about...

I thought of my impatience today as I read my Bible. God had told Joshua to divide up all the Promised Land for the remaining tribes of Israel. When Joshua was all done there was nothing left. He gave it all away.

My reading this morning was from the book of Joshua. In Joshua 22, the 2½ tribes of Israel that got land on the east side of the Jordan River, having completed their task of helping everybody else get their land, are now able to go home.

“Everyone who makes idols and all who trust them will end up as helpless as their idols.”

“My sheep know my voice, and I know them. They follow Me… “

Our oneness, sends a message to the world. We’re meant to be together and be one… one in Jesus

But if you read Psalm 99, you get a much different picture of God, I believe a more realistic picture of God.

Well… Jesus loved everyone. And truly loved them. He cared about whether or not they were sick, He put their needs first.

One day a thin, balding, little man came in wearing wire rim glasses. He spoke in a faint squeaky voice; “I can squeeze your lemon.”

There are over three thousand promises God has made to us. These promises range from health, to peace, to prosperity, freedom, finances, family concerns and security.
