Devote #113

Paul was very intentional. He wanted people to see the “real Paul.” He knew that would have the greatest impact on people’s lives. To be able to not only hear, but see, how Jesus had absolutely changed his life.

Devote #112

Have you ever met that one person who just always seems to light up the room when they arrive? I mean, they have this kind of personality of hope and joy and their like always smiling. They walk in confidence. They always seem to be happy.

Devote #111

I find it a very amazing thing. It’s so simple if you really stop to think about it. I spend time each morning in the presence of God, in His Word. Holy Spirit encourages me with a thought that is true in my life and hopefully, prayerfully, is true in your life.

Devote #110

Just about every day now for the last week or so, I’ve been online looking for a car to replace the one that got totaled. Let me tell, you there are a million options out there. If you’re not picky you can could end up with a real lemon. So, I’ve learned you got to have a plan.

Devote #109

Hope is waiting for you. God’s hope will never let you down, it won’t disappoint you. Why not turn to Him and ask Him for His hope today?

Devote #108

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

Devote #107

Today, a few thoughts are rumbling through my head. The first has to deal with my old athletic days. I can recall the half-time of some football games where our coach became unglued. The words that I can still hear him say was: “WAKE UP!”

Devote #106

“So you will be saved, if you honestly say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and if you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from death.”

Devote #105

God is in control. He’ll take care of my situation and He’ll take care of your situation. He’s already given more than a pound of flesh. Jesus Christ gave His entire life for you. Talk about not being fair! He was completely innocent. He bleed… He died to give you and me life and to give it to us abundantly. That’s my story and I’m sticking too it.

Devote #104

Can you begin to fathom that? Nothing can separate you from God’s love for you through Jesus Christ. There’s isn’t a force, a power, an influence that could ever cause God to stop loving you, and Paul was absolutely, unconditionally, unquestionably, decisively, 100%, sure. Are you?

Devote #103

The guy writing this book of the Bible, Paul, is talking about our battle with sin. He tells us the Law of God, which is holy and correct and good, only shows us our sin, and our sin will kill us.

Devote #102

While reading through the book of Job, I’ve been waiting for God’s response.
