NLS Executive Committee Meeting
Monday, May 17, 2021

Present: Brian, Wendy, Jim, Pastor Sue, Jeanne, Jane

Call to Order

Opening Prayer led by Jeanne

Welcome to Jane Winge as our new VP for Administration!

A motion was made by Brian to approve the April minutes. Jim 2nd and the motion passed.


Old Business

Elections for 2021 – We have received no nominations for our open or upcoming open positions.

Reports

Brian – To make the Newsletter more of a tool we will be asking for articles to be submitted on certain subjects that are at the forefront. Other items may be submitted as well.

Pastor Sue – Newsletter article will be included on the SD Support Group.

Jane – Annual Gathering
Met with some of the team and Rick and Amanda. Trying to have speakers selected by next week. Amanda will be sending out several reminders. Registration will end July 15th to give enough time to get meeting rooms together for the event Annual reports for each position are due to Jane by June 30th.

Jim – We collected $150 in the last month and spent $135 for Go To Meeting. With the issues with tonight’s meeting we will probably be changing to Zoom in the near future. Jim will contact Tom Krause regarding the sales of the Distribution Center for the fiscal year. Financial books will be reviewed in the next two months.

Jeanne – Delegates – Running a little bit behind but will be getting info out in the next week.

Outreach – Wendy had a meeting with the RCs. She requested an annual report from each requested a picture and bio so they can be added to our website.

Eric is our current Webmaster and works on the NLS Communications Team. Raised in Judaism, he found Christ and the New Testament at age 16 in a Southern Baptist Church. He searched many denominations for the real church, only to find the Holy Spirit is present in all of them. He's worked for One for Israel, a group of native Israeli believers who are sharing the gospel in the holy land in Hebrew and is part of the only Hebrew speaking seminary in Israel.
