For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
Good Friday
He who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe.
Maunday Thursday
Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
Palm Sunday
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest, Lord, we lift up your name, with our hearts full of praise, Be exalted, O Lord, my God, Hosanna in the highest!
Fifth Week of Lent
Jesus made it clear that he had been sent by God. This deeply rattled some of those who believed in him, but were hesitant to become his disciples. We must not only believe in Jesus, but we must also learn from him.
Fourth Week of Lent
While we were dead in our transgression and could do nothing to save ourselves, God took action and sent Jesus to die on the cross, rise from the dead, and offer us salvation.
Third Week of Lent
The Beatitudes Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He opened his mouth and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Second Week of Lent
The love of one’s child is not lost on God. In the Baptism of Jesus, we hear God’s voice clearly stating, “This is my beloved Son.”
